About Us

What is TIE

TIE is an ambient narrative in which the main character is slowly consumed by depression, due to the daily grind many he and many of us are forced to endure in life and the workplace. The world itself seems to somehow be physically affected by his existential crisis. This leaves the question, why him...?

 About Us

I'm Tony, and I'm the artist/programmer for TIE.
This has been a huge undertaking as this is the first game I plan to fully complete, TIE has been a big part of my life for the past couple of years and I can't wait to share it with you. You can take a look at some of my other art here, and you can see my two other game projects (which I hope to one day revive) at my other website: .

I'm Aaron, or darithorn, and I also program for TIE.
I'll post something up eventually. :)

The Sound of TIE

Hi, I’m Jeremy. I’m working on the music and sound design for TIE. I was approached by designer Tony Nowak some time in August, when I was asked if I would be interested in working on it. After reading the pitch and seeing some of the early material, it was an easy decision for me to commit to this project. I immediately felt that this was no run-of-the-mill game-as-distraction. Tony is saying something here; this is an existential expression of being. Given how much of himself he’s putting in the game, I felt that it was only appropriate, if not necessary, to do the same with myself and the sound. Each individual track means something personal to me, but as a whole they tell the story of the TIE man as he finds himself thrust into the daily grind of his life.

This project came at a perfect time for me. I was already working on a personal album when I started working on this, and this has given that personal project a sense of direction. The majority of the soundtrack is comprised of new material, but there are a few songs of mine that are older that have been selected by Tony as having been inspirational for him in the process of working on TIE.

So that’s where I’m coming from. You can listen to some of the completed tracks on our media page if you haven’t heard them already.

Otherwise, here’s something else to listen to:
